Happy Birthday Kaden

Today was the "REAL" birthday! Kaden turned 5! I was kinda NOT wanting to buy a cake because we have half of Michaela's left in the fridge yet. He wanted dinosaurs. So I asked if cupcakes would do and then added some dinosaurs. The lady in the bakery was nice enough to let me buy the ones they use for the cakes. So this was much cheaper and not as wasteful. Another half sheet cake would not get eaten in this house. I figured cupcakes would.

5 TRICK candles. Boy was that fun! He was getting disgusted though when he was OUT of breath!

Daddy scored HUGE this year. Kaden was SOOOOOOOOOOOO pleased to have his own arrows with real "sharp" tips and his own finger guard and wrist guard. He's all set and can not wait to go out and shoot his bow with Daddy. He could not stop telling his daddy "Thank You". It was so sweet and so cute!

Mommy kinda scored too because Kaden LOVES the Dukes' of Hazard! And The General Lee is a favorite. He LOVED this remote control car. Just hope he can drive it safe enough and not wreck it.

He just asked me last night if I could roll the car window down a little more. He was going to slide right in. Um...I don't think so!

It was cute also watching Kyler and Michaela get in on the gift giving. Kyler was gone today at a friends and caught Kaden about 8 tiny frogs for part of his present from Kyler. Then he gave him a $1 bill and a piece of his gum wrapped up in the homemade card. It was so precious! Michaela did the same thing...went to her room and found a deck of cards some candy and some of her other treats and shared them with Kaden as her gift. It was so cute and precious to see them give little brother extra attention on his birthday. Wish they could always be so sweet with each other.
