...men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
Luke 18:1
What causes us to faint today? We have a busy week at work this week. My yard needs landscaped and my car needs washed. What's for dinner...helping kids with homework. Running errands, laundry...the list is never ending. Today is just too busy of a day, but maybe I'll pray tomorrow. Maybe.
Today is the National Day of Prayer. Not that we should pray today more than we have before or more than we will tomorrow. But perhaps we can use this as a check point. Are you spending set aside time alone with God everyday in prayer? Or are you a stranger to Him?
Jesus didn't encourage us to pray... He commanded us to!!
