We are in a race. All of us. The starting line is birth. The finish line is death. We don't when we are going to finish. But death is sure so we will finish. Maybe not for a long while. Maybe soon. Maybe sooner than we think. There is no quiting this race. No dropping out. Every soul has to finish. Winners go to heaven. Losers go to hell.
So just how do we win this race we call life?
Run by Faith.
Romans 5:1--Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Proven by Works.
James 2:17--Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Win by Grace.
Titus 2:11--For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
The race of life is run by faith, proven by works, and won by grace.
