He Means The World to ME!

John 15:18--If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

Have you ever felt out of place at work among your co-employers? Have you ever had to speak up, leave the room, or not laugh when a bad joke is told? Have you ever bowed your head to pray before lunch as you know others are staring at you? Have you ever wondered if Jesus ever felt as uncomfortable as you sometimes do in this world?

Jesus tells us plainly that the world hates Him. Why? Because if His message is true, they realize that humility and full reliance on Him alone is needed to be saved. Not only that, but living a holy lifestyle that denies self and seeks God would follow. Those that are of the world despise those ideas. No wonder Christians should feel so out of place in this world.

Jesus doesn't mean that much to this world, but He means the world to me.
